Freeman exhibited work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the 2nd Annual B.C. Artists exhibition in 1933. He was living in Princeton. He also showed work in the B.C. Artists Christmas exhibition at the Gallery in 1933.
Freeman died in Princeton in 1952 at the age of 70. He was single, his occupation noted as "Artist/Draughtsman - Surveying," an occupation he worked at all of his life, including up to the month he died.
