Alfred Farmer was born in Vancouver c1915 at 723 Hamilton Street.

B.C. Vital Statistics on-line lists his marriage to Rose Ungless in Port Moody on July 25 1936. His occupation was noted as Sign Writer.

Farmer exhibited work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the annual BC Artists exhibitions in 1939, 1940, and 1941. He was living in Vancouver. The 1941 City Directory lists Farmer as a painter, employed by Neon Products, married to Rose Farmer.
