Edgar Bloomfield

(1868 - May 13 1937?)

B.C. Art League

Edgar Bloomfield was an early supporter of the arts in Vancouver, sitting in various positions on the Executive of the B.C. Art League after its formation in 1920.

B.C. Vital Statistics on-line notes the death of Edgar Bloomfield in Vancouver on May 13, 1937 at the age of 69. This is probably the same person. Also listed are the birth of Edgar Jervis Bloomfield in Vancouver on April 14, 1903, and the death of Edgar Jervis Bloomfield in New Westminster on May 11 1981 at the age of 78. This is possibly the son of Edgar Bloomfield.

The Vancouver City Archives has a collection of his artwork.
