Bertram Robert Berrick

Bertram Berrick was born in London, England. His father, Lesser Berrick,
was from Liverpool, his mother Margaret Ann Topping was from Wales.
He came to BC c1940, presumably after his retirement, and
exhibited artwork in the 1950 and 1951 B.C. Artists exhibitions
at the Vancouver Art Gallery. The
artist was then living in Victoria, where he died in 1954. He
was married to Gertrude Mendelson, and his death certificate noted
that he had retired in 1940 after 40 years work as an Importer & Exporter.
