BC Artist postcard by Ronald Jackson

This postcard is one of a number of cards issued under the title
British Columbia Artist Series. None of the
cards in the series has a publication date, although information about
them indicates that they were printed in the mid-1940s. In 1941 Jackson exhibited a painting titled "Mud Hills on the Thompson River" in the 10th Annual B.C. Artists' exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery, this postcard is quite likely of the same image. |
