ALCUIN SOCIETY OCTOBER 22 2011 WAYZGOOSE PRINTING FAIR

I have been invited to give a demonstration of linocut printing at the Alcuin Society's Wayzgoose printing fair. This is a celebration of letterpress printing and the book arts. It will be held Saturday Oct. 22 at the main branch (downtown) of the Vancouver Public Library, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is FREE. Please see Alcuin Society website for more information about the event.

I will be carting over my nipping press (seen above), linocut blocks and prints, and a variety of papers and tools, and will be printing copies of a small linocut block that has been cut just for the event. The prints will be given away as a keepsake.
