2025 ALCUIN SOCIETY WAYGOOSE LETTERPRESS PRINTING FAIR

UPDATE:
Once again the Alcuin Society bienniale letterpress printing fair, the WAYZGOOSE,
successfully took over the Alice Mackay Room in the lower level of the Vancouver Public
Library's Main Branch on Georgia Street! An excellent crowd showed up despite the occasional
rain showers. I had a great day selling my prints and cards, and also had a display of
letterpress work by Mona Fertig and Peter Haase of Salt Spring Island.

The biennial Alcuin Society Wayzgoose event is coming to the Vancouver Public Library
Main Branch on Georgia Street on October 25. This is a chance to see a large variety of
excellent letterpress printing, paper making, paper marbling, artwork, and hand made books!
There will be a number of demonstrations during the day, and mid-afternoon a special
presentation will be held to award local winners of the Alcuin Book Design Competition.
Gary Sim / Sim Publishing will once again have a table at the event. I will be exhibiting
a number of limited edition relief prints created in the past two years since the 2023
Wayzgoose event, as well as a new "keepsake" that I designed, cut, printed, and tinted in
preparation for the show.
