Edna Griffith Wybourn (m Albert Crout)

Edna Wybourn was born in Vancouver in 1920. She was an early graduate from the Vancouver School of Art, receiving her diploma for Design and Decorative Arts in 1938.

Her father was employed as a Conductor for the BC Electric Railway. Edna was employed as an artist / clerk at David Spencer's department store.

In 1946 she married Albert Crout in Vancouver. He was a 32 year old meat cutter at a butcher store, born in Nova Scotia. Edna was a 26 year old commercial artist at the time. Her father was born in Wales, and her mother in Australia.

Edna died in Vancouver in 1969 at the age of 48, survived by her husband.
