Grace M. Willis was born in England, and came to Canada c1907, and moved to Kelowna two years after that.

She exhibited artwork in the 1941 B.C. Artists exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery. The artist was living in Kelowna at the time, and was still living there when she died a widow in 1968.

As of 2022 a number of her artworks are in the permanent collection of the Kelowna Art Gallery.
