Final Winter Exhibition Held
Saturday Was Well Attended

     The Sketch Club held its final winter exhibition Saturday afternoon, when voting on the monthly exhibits was totalled, the first prize in the professional class going to Norman Hawkins and the amateur to Mrs. J. Anderson. The prizes, cheques for $5, were presented by the donor, Mrs. Edward Lipsett, who generously intimated her intention of offering the sum of $25 for prizes, to be competed for during the session now entered.
     Mrs. Lipsett was thanked for her appreciative sympathy and the practical interest always taken in the club's activities.
     An advance was noticeable in the work exhibited by many of the members, who realize that the opportunity offered by the club for monthly comparisons of each other's work is beneficial.
     Sketches were sent in by the following: Mrs. Frame, Mrs. Gilpin, Mrs. J. Anderson. Miss Power, Miss Maud Sherman, Mrs. Rankin, Miss A. Batchelor, Miss Wake, Mrs. Pollok, and Mr. Norman Hawkins.
     Visitors included: Mrs. M. Pollok, Mrs. J. Anderson. Mrs. Rankin, Miss A. Macklin, Miss Jean Stoddart, Miss H. Jackson, Mrs. G. Gilpin, Miss Maud Sherman, Miss Frances Keefer, Miss C.B. Power, Mrs. Keefer, Miss Edith Wrigley, Mrs. C.O. Anderson, Miss Edith Miller, Mrs. Covelle, Miss L. Reddock (Toronto), Miss E. Batiste, Miss Helen Earle, Mrs. E. Lipsett, Miss H. Batchelor, Miss A.
