ABOUT THE FREE INCREMENTAL UPGRADE

This project ended up being far larger and more time consuming to create than I ever imagined it would be when I started. I did realize in advance, though, that it would be big enough that it would make sense functionally and financially to create and revise it digitally until I was finished.

Completion continues to elude me. My printout of the project now totals more than 4,200 pages from over 2,600 web page files. I think I have "captured" in the index almost all artists who displayed their work in Vancouver between 1890 and 1950, other than those specifically excluded, but there are "only" 8,500 artworks listed here out of a total of perhaps 15,000 to 20,000 exhibited, and hundreds more exhibition catalogues could be transcribed before "completion" could be contemplated as an applicable word.

In the meantime there are free incremental upgrades. Since you have acquired a project that is being updated frequently with additional information, you shouldn't be "left behind" by those acquiring more current versions of the project. Thus, on an irregular basis, Sim Publishing mails out new, updated CD's at no charge to registered owners to keep them current, and by way of thanking them for their purchase.

Your CD serial number is the key to this, it is registered prior to being shipped and then used to track the "aging" of your version versus the amount of information subsequently added.
