Edwin (Ed) Charles Lockey

April 3 1897 - July 19 1985

Western Art Cirle

Edwin C. Lockey was born in Bishop, England. He was married to Jane McBlane Brown.

He had a group exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1936 with George Foster and R. Stuart Scott.

He exhibited in a number of the annual B.C. Artists exhibitions at the Vancouver Art Gallery from 1935 to 1951.

He donated a painting to the Western Art Cirle exhibition in 1961.

He was living in Vancouver when he died in 1985 at the age of 88. His occupation was noted as "Artist - Art."
