Carl Bernhard Gottschau

May 23 1890 - May 6 1966


Carl B. Gottschau was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He came to Canada c1911, and to Burnaby c1944. He exhibited work in the Stanley Park in Pictures exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1946.

Gottschau was married to Carrie Hansen, but was a widower when he died in Vancouver in 1966 at the age of 75. He had retired as a catering Chef in 1956 after 45 years work in the profession.
