He was Vice-President of the Arts & Crafts Society in 1900, and also exhibited his work in the group's First Annual Exhibition.
He was the sixth architect registered with the AIBC after it was founded in 1914. He was President of the Institute in 1923-24.
He died in Vancouver in 1947.
