Alfred Thomas Dyer

Alfred Dyer was born in Blackpool, England. He immigrated to Canada c1913, and moved to Vancouver c1929. On September 21 1935 Dyer married Bertha Catherine Hanen in Vancouver. His occupation was noted as Machinist, her occupation was noted as "Forelady, in charge of power sewing machine operators."

Dyer exhibited work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the 1945 14th Annual B.C. Artists exhibition. The artist was living in Vancouver.

The 1945 City Directory lists Dyer as a Machinist employed by Vivian Engineering, married to "Bertha C." and living on East 40th in Vancouver.

Dyer died in Vancouver in 1973 at the age of 70, his occupation noted as "Civil Service - Federal."
