Stanley (Stan) Dunn

1923 -

groups

Stanley Dunn was born in Vancouver in 1923, according to an undated (post WWII) flyer for the artist, with text by John Lupton, ARIBA. Lupton noted that Dunn was "a young Canadian war veteran," that his work included materials such as metals and sand, and that "as a designer he is also concerned with application of his painting techniques in the field of Stage Design, and of Ballet in particular, combining as it does to weld music, painting and movement into a homogeneous whole."

Dunn exhibited his work in 1945 at the British Columbia At Work exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery. In 1977 he was living in Vancouver.

BC Vital Statistics on-line did not provide any information on the artist as of April 2021.
