Peggy Deane was born in Oxford, England. She studied art in Regina SK
and Toronto ON before moving to Vancouver. She had a solo exhibition at the
Vancouver Art Gallery in 1944.

Born in Oxford, England, Miss Deane was brought up in Regina, where she studied
art at the Balfour Technical School under Garnet Hazard.
She subsequently took an art teachers' specialist course at the University of
Toronto. She now teaches art at Coquitlam Junior and Senior High School. This is
Miss Deane's first One Man Show."
