Per Danielson exhibited his work in the 1944British Columbia At Work exhibition at the Vancouver
Art Gallery. His painting Trawler won a special
prize of $25.00, and was illustrated in
WALLNEWS in March 1945, which also noted about the artist: "12-year old son
of a commercial fisherman who is captain of the seine trawler depicted in
the entry; grade 5 student; enrolled in free art classes conducted by
Vancouver Art Gallery." The painting depicted a fishing trawler on a stormy sea.
