George W. Culley was born in Newry, Northern Ireland.

He exhibited artwork in the 1941 B.C. Artists exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery. The artist was living in New Westminster.

The witness for the death certificate was his son George W. Culley, who was living in Burnaby. Culley was survived by his wife Mary Cartmill. His occupation was listed as "painter - oil" and he was living in Surrey.
