Mary Rowat Bull

Mary Bull was born in Troon, Scotland. After arriving in BC she attended the Vancouver School of Art in 1939 and 1940, winning a merit certificate.

She exhibited her work in the B.C. Artists annual exhibition in 1942.

She exhibited in the Seattle Art Museum's annual Northwest Artists exhibition in 1954, she was living in Kelowna.

In 1977 she was living in Kelowna. In 2003 her house burned down in the Okanagan mountain forest fire, destroying the majority of her artwork.

As of 2022, four of her artworks are in the permanent collection of the Kelowna Art Gallery.
