M. Boond exhibited work at the Vancouver Art Gallery in the 1933 2nd Annual B.C. Artists exhibition, and was living at Quathiaski Cove, Quadra Island at the time.

Maria Carlotta D Boond died in Quathiaski Cove on January 21, 1952 at the age of 57. This is possibly the artist M. Boond.
