Norah Elizabeth Bittancourt
(nee Ashton, m Lyndell Arthur Bittancourt)
December 28 1899 - June 5 1972
N.E. Bittancourt was born in England in 1899. She arrived in
B.C. around 1915, and moved to Salt Spring Island around 1925.
She exhibited artwork in the 1948 group exhibition
of the Salt Spring Island Art Group
at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
She died at home on Salt Spring Island at the age of 77. She
was living on Bittancourt Road.
