Unidentified oil painting
| This little oil on canvas (approx. 6" x 8") was given to me unframed in 1998 by Mrs. Joan Dendys. It was part of a large collection of artwork and ephemera that came from the estate of early Vancouver artist Maud Rees Sherman. It is not signed or dated, and the building has not been identified. My hope is that it is a rare oil painting by T.W. Fripp of a Hatzic or Mission City farmhouse. He lived there at the same time as the family of R.S. Sherman. |
