Vancouver Technical High School Rifle Corps

This photo was taken May 9 1924 by Harry Bullen, photographer. It shows part of the Vancouver Technical High School rifle corps. The corps band is in the front row, one might wonder why the man in the front row fourth from the right is wearing a leopard skin. The school's founding Principal J.G. Lister is the man wearing the suit at the far left side of the group. On the far right of the photograph is L.A. Elliott in uniform, who in addition to his volunteer work with the rifle corps also taught printing at the school.
