Mrs. Vera Sankey-Webb was born at home in Vancouver in 1894, one of the earliest children born in the city. Both of her parents were from England. She married William Webb, a 24-year old postal clerk, at her own home at 1950 Grant Street on June 6, 1916. Her occupation was noted as "music teacher."

She exhibited artwork in a 1947 exhibition by North and West shore artists.

She was living at 1675 27th Street in West Vancouver when she died a widow in 1986, occupation noted as "housewife."
