Miervaldis (Walter) Jursevskis

M. Jursevskis was born in Riga, Latvia, and came to Canada after World War Two. He worked for CP Railway on Vancouver Island, then moved to Vancouver and worked for T. Eaton Company as a display artist for 25 years. He was the BC chess Champion for six years.

He exhibited work in the 1949 Stanley Park in Pictures exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

He died in Burnaby in 2014.
