Miss Mary Jessiman (incorrectly Jessieman)

Miss Mary Jessiman was an early student at the Vancouver School of
Decorative and Applied Arts, passing second year courses in June 1933.
She visited Savary Island in
summer 1933, attending the school's summer camp on the island.

She was a student at the short-lived BC College of Arts
in Vancouver, attending the stage-craft and theatre-arts classes in 1933-34. In
December 1933 she took part in the play PETROUCHKA.
The classes produced a modern adaption to Ben Jonson's comedy play Volpone
at the College in January 1934, the play was well received by the press.

May 5 1934.
The 1934 City Directory lists her as a student, living at 1716 Haro Street in the
West End of Vancouver.
