COBB was the name signed by the artist who illustrated the 1924 pamphlet titled Captivating Vancouver (see below). Although there are variations in the signature from drawing to drawing, the majority of them appear to be signed "COBB" with a little check mark (or seagull) below the name. It may also be initials "WBB" or "MBB." The editor was unable to find any more information about the artist at time of writing.

Although only a few of the drawings were scanned for this article, the pamphlet has many more that are equally well drawn and interesting, all of them of well-chosen and historic views around Vancouver.
