Edith Clark was a noted businesswoman in Vancouver who in the 1930s operated stores called The Pagoda Shop and Mrs. Clark's Treasures. Later she ran the Gallery of B.C. Arts on Georgia Street at Lost Lagoon from 1961 to 1982. She was an early and important supporter of B.C. artists, and exhibited their work in her stores.
