Philip Butterfield

Philip Butterfield was born in Vancouver, grew up in Summerland, then spent
a year in New York at the art school. He moved to Atlin, then Whitehorse,
Vancouver, Seattle, Lethbridge, and then Monarch AB.
He exhibited a sculpture of his father at the Vancouver
Art Gallery in the 1940 9th Annual
B.C. Artists exhibition. The artist was living in Vancouver.
Butterfield and his wife moved to Victoria in 2015, where he died.
