BC Vital Statistics notes that Richard Marshall Blake was living in North Vancouver when he died in 1987 at the age of 85. He was born on October 20 1901 in Wales, and was widowed from Catherine Mary Aikman, his occupation noted as "retired surveyor." This may be the artist.
