| This is a nice reproduction of a large painting with a historical theme, early Vancouver Mayor David Oppenheimer and the first City Council, by John Innes, dated lower left 1936. Image courtesy City of Vancouver Archives, from a photograph of the painting taken in 1943, Major Matthews Collection. I'm sure all these men are named in another document, they are so well painted as to be easily identifiable, as is Oppenheimer. |
