VAG All-Canadian Exhibition summary of entries & judging
| This digital scan is from an original art gallery list of artist submissions to the Vancouver Art Gallery's 1932 All Canadian Exhibition. Entries from Eastern Canada enjoyed a 97% acceptance rate, compared to only 47% for BC artists. The difference was essentially that the artwork sent from Eastern Canada was "pre-curated" by artists and galleries prior to being shipped, whereas the BC artwork was submitted in reponse to an open call for entries from artists. |
