John Innes painting
This is a nice reproduction of a large painting with a historical theme, by
John Innes. Captain Vancouver meets the Spanish
explorers in what we now call English Bay in 1792. It was photographically
reproduced in By Shore & Trail in Stanley Park, a 1929 book of stories
by Robert Allison Hood, and again in 1936 in The Romance of British Columbia -
Jubilee Edition.
