Sculptural Fountain by Lionel Thomas 1965
| Lionel Thomas designed and built this sculptural fountain, installed on the plaza of Beach Towers, 1600 Beach Avenue. Apparently there were once two such sculptures. The City of Vancouver public art website notes both, has a photograph of one, and states that "they have been removed." A second one may have been removed, but this one is still there, and its condition is deteriorating. The mosaic tile work looks like it will last a thousand years.
