| This is a scan of an original pencil and crayon drawing from the first Grade One Primer that I was given (at age 4, September 1955). My mother saved the workbook for me. Semi-representational, with tensely scribbled sgraffito background, Crayola colour-fields, little spaceships coming out of an articulated sun ... what can I say? |
