Photograph of R.S. Alexander mural cartoon.
Alexander did this colour cartoon when designing a mural for the Potlatch Room
at the Grosvenor Hotel in Vancouver. The mural was successfully completed and
installed. When the hotel was demolished years later, the mural was apparently
removed prior to demolition, and may still exist somewhere. This image of the
cartoon is courtesy of the artist's daughter Renee Alexander. The cartoon has
been donated to the Emily Carr University Archives.
