Vancouver Art Gallery architectural rendering
| This is a scan from CANADIAN ART magazine, Vol. VII No. 4 Summer 1950, showing an architectural rendering for the gallery extension that was designed by Ross Lort. The extension opened in September 1951. It is interesting to compare this drawing with the photograph of the building to see the differences. The VAG logo was moved to face Georgia Street, the number of stairs up from the sidewalk increased to five, and the windows on the left were not built as per the drawing.
