| This 1962 photograph is a view inside of the original Vancouver Art Gallery at 1155 West Georgia Street, after its expansion in 1951. The portrait hanging on the back wall was apparently "found covered in dust" in the basement by Gerald Hall Tyler, who painstakingly restored it. "About Town" was published by Barbara Strong, at 1665 West Broadway. This is issue Vol. 8 - No. 9. |
