This postcard is one of a number of cards issued under the title
British Columbia Artist Series. None of the
cards in the series has a publication date, although information about
them indicates that they were printed in the mid-1940s. The painting Howe Sound was exhibited extensively, and then purchased by IBM in 1941. This provides the latest date for the cards in the BC Artist Series, which are otherwise undated. |
