This is a digital scan of the front page of an original 1940 exhibition catalogue, showing the facade of the original Vancouver Art Gallery at 1145 West Georgia Street, Vancouver. Sculptural ornaments on the exterior were modelled by Charles Marega.

This is a digital scan of the original catalogue for the first exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery. An original photographic print has been "tipped into" the catalogue. The busts of Michaelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci on each side of the entrance were created by sculptor Charles Marega, who also donated them to the gallery.
