Mrs. R.R. Maitland

Mrs. R.R. Maitland was one of the earliest artists to exhibit in Vancouver, and in 1889 was a founding member of the first important art organization in Vancouver, the Vancouver Art Association. She is probably the mother of Miss Maitland, also noted as a founding member.

She exhibited a number of paintings in the First Annual Exhibition of the Vancouver Art Association in 1890.
