Paul Falk was a student at the Vancouver School of Decorative and Applied Arts, passing second year courses in June 1933.

He was a student at the short-lived BC College of Arts in Vancouver, attending the stage-craft and theatre-arts classes in 1933-34. The classes produced a modern adaption to Ben Jonson's comedy play Volpone at the College in January 1934, the play was well received by the press.

The 1934 City directory lists Falk as a student, living at 1335 Nanton. His father was listed as John H.T. Falk (Olive) executive dir Van Welfare Federation. Also listed at that address is Betty Falk, Student.
