An excellent three-page biographical summary of Kujundzic notes that he was born in Yugoslavia in 1920, and was in the student resistance in World War Two. He was captured by both the Germans and Russians, escaped twice, and trekked a thousand miles to reach home. He emigrated to Canada in 1958, and died in Osoyoos in 2003.
