Women In Focus Gallery, March 17 - May 16, 1981 #204 - 456 West Broadway, Vancouver BC Curated and organized by Marion Barling, Susan Moore, Jill Pollack The project consisted of 3 sequential exhibitions: Fibre/Fabric Arts; Paper/Canvas/Multimedia; and Three Dimensional. An unusual catalogue, in that it consists of loose 8"x10" pages of cardstock, glossy on 1 side. Two sheets give information about the exhibition and related events, each of the remaining sheets is dedicated to a single artist: biographical information and artist statement on one side of the page, a full page black and white illustration of their work on the other. All packaged in a custom printed white envelope with WOMANSIZE logo and stamped red elephant, originally sealed with melted red wax. Artist information includes: Personal Data; Education; Exhibitions; Commissions; Personal Statement; list of works, and which of the 3 exhibitions their work was in. |
