This digital scan is from an original document on file at the
Vancouver Art Gallery Library and Archives. It was in a correspondence
folder related to the Second Annual BC at Work
exhibition in 1945, sponsored by the Labour Arts Guild.
The list of prize winners noted that due to lack of
entries, the prizes for sculpture and wood carving would become a single $100
prize, and the other $100 divided into $60 and $40 prizes in Oil Painting.
The dark ellipse in lower left is actually a union printing mark.
