1906 Tourist Brochure cover by Spencer Perceval Judge

This multi-page tourist brochure is a typical example of "boosterism" style marketing material. It extolls Vancouver's beauty, size, features, peoples, buildings, parks, businesses, and recreational activities, among other things. This nice two-colour drawing by S.P. Judge is an early example of his commercial artwork. The original wooden English Bay bath-house is the large building on the right, and in the distance the Sylvia and the Englesea Apartments are not yet built. Some of the photographs were noted with "BC Eng Co."
