| This sculpture is mounted on a huge boulder on the south shore of Burrard Inlet, in Stanley Park, Vancouver. The Danish sculptor intended it as a tribute to a well-known mermaid sculpture in Denmark. The seagull is standing quite casually on one leg. Photograph Gary Sim, October 4 2022. |
