This photograph by the Editor shows a view of the sculpture in 2000, after the enclosing glass cube and the four glass spheres were smashed by vandals. Note that the hardware used to attach the spheres is concealed inside the bronze framework of the sculpture, and weren't visible until after the entire framework was destroyed. At that time the view beyond the sculpture over the Beatty escarpment was not impeded by development.
