"Osprey" by Gary Sim.
| This pencil and pen & ink drawing was one of a series of drawings of birds and animals completed in 2013. This is a view of an osprey with a fish dinner, at Scout Island, Williams Lake. I was waiting for a flight back to Vancouver after a site visit to 100 Mile House, and passing the time on a nature walk. A new camera with 24x optical zoom allowed me to get excellent detail on a picture of the bird, which was standing about 100 feet away from me on top of an old phone pole. |
